1.This project is for the use of the library.
2.It will incorporate all features of library management
and provides an easy and secure way of
handling the library.
3.It will help the manager to arrange the library and
students to search the books they need effectively and
efficiently.

Problems in manual system and there solutions

through this project
1.In manual system the record of books is generally done
in excel sheets which is difficult to maintain and prone to
errors. This project dont have this problem as the books
record are kept in database.
2.This project provides a secure way of management as
different users have different access protected through
passwords. Which is not in the manual system.
3.We can maintain all types of books details properly.

Applications and Features

This Software is having a password

protection functionality which will keep the
data safe and secure.

It also enriched with the simple user

interface for easiness for students.

Conclusions

From a proper analysis of positive points and constraints on the

component, it can be safely concluded that the product is a
highly efficient non GUI based component.

This component can be easily plugged in many other systems.

Also the component is user friendly. Generally the LIBRARY
MANAGER of the Colleges has to face a lot of problems in
management of the books.

This all information has to be managed manually. So, there is a

need to develop a system that can solve the mentioned problem.
This software comes with just that solution.

Future Scope
Currently this Software is a desktop application and in the
future it can be put up online or in other words we can say it
will be a web based application.

Currently this software is in non GUI mode, but in future it can

be made purely in GUI based for a lot more easiness for the
students as well as staf

As in future , some new modules like ISSUE of books, fine

paid etc. are also implied as currently they are under
development.
Students can use their user id and password to check their
issued books and their pending fines online.
