50% respondents turn to the sport section first

40% prefer to read the local news.
Entertainment & foreign news scored 3% and 7% respectively.
people of Seri Iskandar enjoy rooting the sports scene.

Section C-Peoples lifestyle towards news

Based on the bar graph, 25(83.3%) out of 30 respondents agreed that it is important to
subscribe to a news. 28(93.3%) out of 30 respondents agreed they trust all the news that
they receive and more than half of the respondents(66.67%) are willing to pay RM6 daily for
news that provide high quality multimedia. From the bar graph we can conclude that the
people of Seri Iskandar aware that it is important to subscribe to a news as news helps to
keep them updated, gain knowledge and spend their free time. Besides that, we can also
conclude that the people of Seri Iskandar are easily deceived by fake news and they want
news with high quality multimedia. One of the respondent said that newspaper will look
more interesting with high quality pictures.

Section D-Peoples lifestyle towards news

Referring to the pie chart above, half of the respondent find the
sports scene affect their lifestyle and 13 out of 30 respondents at
43%, find news on politics affect their lifestyle and it changes the
way they behave and think. It seems, entertainment does not
affect the people of Seri Iskandars lifestyle at all the same goes
to social issues.

Section E-Feedback on ways to improve news content

The graph shows the feedback on ways to improve news content. The people of Seri Iskandar
strongly agree that the newspaper should give the public opportunity to voice out in the
newspaper and they also agree that there should be more news that is suitable for teenagers
while most people chose neutral causing not much gap difference for the respondents
opinion on delivering quality contents bar graph. From the graph we can finalise that the
people of Seri Iskandar have want the opportunity to speak up in the newspaper and the
teenagers in Seri Iskandar find the current newspapers are not suitable with them. Lastly,
from the graph we can conclude that the people of Seri Iskandar doesnt really care about

Conclusion and
Reccomendation

Based on section A, 24 out of 30 of the respondents are between 19-29

years old and most of their level of education is Diploma. Referring to
section B, we can conclude that the people of Seri Iskandar enjoy rooting the
sports scene. Perhaps the city council should encourage the sports facilities
to help the growth of sports talent in Seri Iskandar. Section C we can
conclude that people are easily deceived by fake news. This is something we
should overcome as fake news can cause havoc in a nation. Next, in Section
D we found out that news on sports and politics affect people life that it
changes the way they behave. Last but not least based on Section E on how
to improve news we realize that news should give a section where the public
can voice out their problems and opinion and the newspaper company
should really publish a newspaper that is suitable for teenagers to read. This
will also increase the habits of reading among the teenagers of Seri Iskandar.
