Introduction

Robots all have some kind of mechanical construction, a


frame, form or shape designed to achieve a particular task.
Robots have electrical components which power and control
the machinery.
All robots contain some level of computer programming code.
A program is how a robot decides when or how to do
something.

Objective

The objective of the paper is to design the autonomous robot


for industrial safety purpose & combine with android
application.
Which is useful to reduce the human activities in the
hazardous environments and also helpful to do the work in
accurate manner.
Because the remote control operation is performed to control
the robotic wheels.

Existing system

In the existing system of the paper consists of personal


computer to monitor the parameters of the sensor signals.
The CORTEX M3 1768 controller is employed for the total
control & measurement of the robot.
The robotic wheel is used to drive by relays.

Proposed system

In the proposed system consists of Arduino micro controller,


which is used to monitor and control the whole operation of
the Robot.
The android application is developed to monitor the sensors
parameters( Temperature , Humidity , Gas).
The driver IC is used to drive the wheel of the robot.

Sensors description
DHT11 sensor:
This sensor is used to measure the temperature and humidity
level of any physical parameters.

Driver Circuit

L293D is used as a driver IC ,which is help to run the robotic


wheel depends on the signal of the microcontroller
It is 16 pin IC
The main advantage of this IC is very compact size compare
to relays

Working

The 5V DC supply is given to the micro controller then the


driver IC and Bluetooth is Connected to the controller, the
sensors are sense it parameters and it displayed in the android
mobile.
If we want to see the visual movement of the robot by adding
the RF camera to the robotic section.

Programming and compiler

Embedded C programming is used to run the micro controller.


Arduino IDE is a compiler , which is used to compile the
program.

Fault occurs in the robot it create a dangerous environmental

Future enhancement

The future enhancement of the paper is to connect the more


no of sensors in the controller we can able to measure that
parameters easily and it will displayed in the android mobiles.
Mine detection and other critical places this system is more
reliable.
