Sidang HABITAT
Sidang Habitat merupakan sidang PBB tentang permukiman dan
pembangunan perkotaan berkelanjutan, dengan tujuan untuk memastikan
komitmen bersama menuju pembangunan perkotaan yang berkelanjutan.
Sidang ini dilakukan setiap 20 tahun sekali

Sidang HABITAT III diharapkan menghasilkan konsensus


global tentang New Urban Agenda, kesepakatan untuk
menghadapi tantangan dan peluang dibalik urbanisasi
untuk pelaksanaan pembangunan berkelanjutan, yang
merupakan agenda pembangunan pasca-2015 (yang
disebut SDGs, pengganti MDGs)

Menuju HABITAT III


Preparatory Committee (PrepCom) ditetapkan sesuai Resolusi Sidang Majelis Umum PBB No.
A/RES/67/216 sebagai persiapan Konferensi Habitat III, yang akan dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 (tiga
kali) :

Side events - ada sekitar 12 event yang diselenggarakan oleh berbagai
organisasi
Parallel events - diisi oleh pemangku kepentingan seperti FIABCI, UNHabitat, organisasi internasional seperti Huairou Commission, lembaga riset,
Columbia University, dsb.
Open Consultations yang berlangsung 10-15 September, di mana sekitar
10 pertemuan terjadi antar berbagai organisasi dengan Sekjen Konferensi
Habitat III.

Sidang working group (terbagi dua kelompok kerja)
Side event - 36 sesi untuk 3 hari. Penyelenggara menyediakan ruang dan perlengkapan
pendukung seminar. Sedangkan acara side event dapat diisi oleh berbagai pemangku
kepentingan - bisa pemerintah, perguruan tinggi, lembaga riset, LSM, asosiasi profesi
atau sektor privat.
Paralel events yang diisi General Assembly of Partners (GAP) dan Policy Dialogue
Local and Regional Governments (sehari sebelum PrepCom2)
Pameran - diisi oleh negara / organisasi peserta. Terdapat pameran informatif tentang
isu-isu perkotaan yang disiapkan oleh UN-Habitat.
Jumlah Peserta : > 800 peserta , 90 negara dan 100 organisasi internasional

persiapan terkahir menjelang Konferensi Habitat
III

Rencana Tindak Lanjut Persiapan


Preparatory Committee 3
Telah dilakukan rapat koordinasi persiapan dengan Pemerintah
Kota Surabaya, Pemprov Jawa Timur, Kementerian Luar Negeri,
Dit. Imigrasi Kemenkumham, dan Dit. Bea Cukai Kemenkeu pada
tanggal 3 November 2015 lalu.
Segera diterbitkan Surat Keputusan Tim Panitia Nasional
Penyelenggaraan PrepCom 3
Perlu dilakukan pertemuan dengan Direktorat Perjanjian
Internasional, Sosial Ekonomi dan Budaya, Kementerian Luar
Negeri, untuk menyiapkan draft Host Country Agreement.
Perlu segera dibentuk Tim Penyiapan Materi dan Rencana Kerja
serta output dokumen yang harus dihasilkan dalam rangka
persiapan menuju PrepComm 3.
Pemko Surabaya perlu segera mengidentifikasi informasi
sebagai bahan penyusunan Information Note dan publikasi di
website terkait PrepCom 3
Ditjen Bea Cukai dimohon untuk mengirimkan ketentuan
mengenai barang impor sementara
