TRACTION MACHINE SHOP

A wide variety of Traction Motors, Traction Generators and
Alternators are rewound / remanufactured in this shop.
Facilities include Proceco Cleaning and Vacuum Drying Plant
Hydraulic Press for shafting/deshafting, Glass Bead Blasting
Machine, Vacuum Impregnation Plant, HYT Lathe, Dynamic
Balancing Machine, etc.

MAIN RECEIVING STATION 66 KV

SUBSTSATION
DMW purchases electrical energy from PSPCL as single point
supply. Electrical power supply, for the entire complex of
workshop and colony, is received at 66 KV from 220 KV grid
substation of PSPCL at Ablowal. The supply is received
through a 10 Km long 66 KV single circuit overhead line. The
maintenance of 66 KV overhead line is with PSPCL.
The total sanctioned connected load of DMW at present is
25566 KW and the sanctioned contract demand is 17694
KVA. The electricity tariff of PSPCL is the single part tariff
applicable for Category IV consumers of PSPCL.
