CHAPTERS 1-4 IMAGING English 11

ACTIVITY
Using information from the readings on child soldiers, as
well as chapters 1-4, and accompanying activities, you are
going to create a new image/response for chapters 1-4

Your image/response will contain


A meaningful quote from page 1 to the end of chapter 4 (that you
think represents a theme or main idea from the book so far), cited
correctly
1-3 sentence connection to the readings: what you learned about
child soldiers / Sierra Leone and how that connects to the book so
far
An addition of your own choosing in response
ADDITIONS OPTIONS

You will add one of the following


1. A paragraph written response
2. An illustration/image that quote makes you think of (with
detail, showing a personal response)
3. A mind map of the connections you can make between
your life, or other things you are reading/watching (this
will need categories)
4. A personal story (at least 2 paragraphs long) of which
this first section reminds you
5. Your own idea (check w/Ms. Bergman)
