 History of the education

With the development of the human being, knowledges have became more
complex and difficult to transfer to the next generation, so people in the ri
ver valleys of Egypt and Babylonia started to record their knowledges sinc
e 3100 BC. In the beginning, school usually taught students life experienc
e and living skill.
The first school in America opened in the 17th century. Boston Latin Scho
ol is the oldest public school in America.
How do members of society perceive educatio
n
Members of society perceive education because education can i
mprove their life quality and they understand education can hel
p them to get out from poverty.
Members of society perceive education is a necessary thing, the
y think education can shape students character and develop thei
r hobbies
How do members of the institution perceive it
self
Most of the students perceive themselves are learner to absorb knowledge
and information as much as they can, through this kind of behavior, stude
nts can gain a lot knowledge and may find a good-treatment-job in the fut
ure.
Not all the students perceive themselves are learner, some poor students d
ont care their academic failure, they think education cant help them get o
ut from poverty.
 How has the institution changed over time

Since 3500BC, writing system had developed in ancient civilizations. Hu

man being fully developed hieroglyph before 3400BC. During the early m
iddle age, Roman church organized school and taught people knowledges.
After the 15th century, most school in Europe start to taught religionary kn
owledge. In modern world, education has developed a learning system. F
or instance, traditional school, online school and tutoring service.
What has caused various institutions to chang
e
Traditional school was popular before until internet came out, a lot of stud
ents are trying to attend online classes now which is long distance classes
can learn knowledge in whatever time and wherever places. People choose
online class to instead of the traditional school because traditional school
has a highly inefficiency. Also, online school can save bunch of money be
cause students do not have to buy a physical textbook. Moreover, students
can choose their own schedule of classes and they can save their time to g
et a part time job.
Discuss any stable features of the institution, t
hat is, features that have not changed.
Although, with the time passing, education has became multitudinous, so
me features have not changed yet. For instance, a higher academic degree
can help students to get a better job; students who finish four years college
normally have a higher income compare to students who do not have a col
lege degree.
Education definitely can shape students character and help them to make
hundreds of friends.
 As a way to better accommodate members of society, ho
w would you improve your institution?
Even thought our educational system is great right now, but it still not perfect. For example, poor st
udents do not care about their academic failure, students can not pay back their academic loan whe

n they have a job and illegal immigrants are costing millions money of citizens to support them to

go to school. So in my opinion, government set up more and more scholarship to improve the inter

est of poor students. Also, many of the scholarships are unclaimed fund government should mak

e the best use of this kind of money. To establish plenty of operating posts and trying to recruit mor

e people who just graduated. Decreasing the interest of the academic loan to help out more and mo

re poor students. Also, trying to limit the population of the illegal immigrant, using the unclaimed f

und or scholarship to support children of the illegal immigrants.

 Who are the major participants in the instituti
on? What are their roles and statuses?
President of the school, teacher, students, parents and counselors, those are the major
participants in education.
President is the most powerful people in the school, he/she has a right to do the final
decision.
Teachers who directly teach students knowledges and experience.
students who as a person who absorb knowledge from teachers.
Parents who can provide a good environment and food to their children.
Counselors is person who can set up a educational plan to students can help out stude
nts when they are in trouble.
Does your institution work better for some me
mbers of society (as opposed to others)?
Actually, education is fair for everyone in this society. However, poor peopl
e may have some troubles to go to school normally. Poor people do not have
ability to pay their academic fee and text book, and they have to get a part-t
ime job to help out their life in sometimes. So, poor people have to spend m
ore time and attention compare to normal students. Regular students can foc
us on their learning so they may have a better GPA than poor students usuall
y. Moreover, regular students have more interest and passion than poor stud
ents because poor people dont care their academic failure, they think degre
e cant provide food to them.
 Functionalist
The definition of functionalist is what education do for our society and its
member.
Transfer knowledge: Education can teaches knowledge and life experience
to students.
Giving more opportunity to students to get a high payment job
to help students develop better habits and character.
To improve the quality of people in society.
 Conflict Theory
The conflict theory is the theotry propounded by Karl Marx and it talks ab
out different people or classes have a competition between them because li
mit resource or any other things.
School violence between students
Teachers rape their students
High input and low profit (students cant pay back their loan)
Students cant find a job even though they have a degree.
