CONTEXT
Context is the situation
around which a
message revolves.

- Context is a planning stage.


- Context allows to discriminate what is important
and what is not.
SENDER-
ENCODER

The person who sends the


message is called
Sender-Encoder.
- Encoder uses combination of words, paragraphs
and pictures etc
understandable by reader to best convey his
message .
MESSAGE
The information that is exchanged
between sender and
receiver is called Message

OR
Information (data) to be communicated is

called Message

- Message includes text, pictures, audios, videos


etc.
MEDIUM

The channel through which
sender communicates his message.
OR
Medium is a device used to transmit the
data.

- Medium may be letter, radio, TV, newspaper, postman, pictures,

charts, etc.
RECEIVER-DECODER

The person to whom message is being sent is


called Receiver .

- The message receiver is your reader or listener also


known as decoder.
FEEDBACK
Response or reaction of the

Verbal communication is the

Verbal communication are of

NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION:
Non verbal communication means to communicate
others without words.
70% of the effective messages come from non-verbal
communication.

SMELL AND TOUCH:
Various odors and fragrances convey
emotions of sender and sometime affect
the reaction of receiver.
Touch is an important vehicle to convey
warmth, comfort and reassurance.
VOICE AND SOUND:
Your voice quality and extra sound you make while
speaking are also the part of non-verbal communication
and also called Paralinguistic/Paralanguage.

his/her.
