General
This block is used to control the motors of a dispatcher. We will find this function after a machine to
dispatch the bottles from 1 line to a bulk.

Vocabulary:

Length (L): length of the container.

Gap (G): distance between two containers facing the flow direction in millimetres.

Row: number of container rows on the conveyor.

Tune: Fine tune offset. To use if the other parameters are not fine enough.

Cpm : unit speed display in containers per minute

Cpm/s : unit of speed increment or decrement in containers per minute per second

m/min : unit of motor speed in meter per minute

Operating principles

General : "Dispat" manages the start/stop orders and the

speeds of one to eight machine discharge motors. It also
provides energy saving management signals for itself and
the conveyors after it.

Prerequisite and sensor position

The stand by photocell 510B1 is mounted on the

conveyors that never stops, far enough from SIDELs
conveyors in order to restart them early, to be at
machines speed when the first bottle arrives on the
transfer.

-The first motor must respect the pitch of the

machine output

-In the standard SIDEL lines, the motor 101M1 is

driving by the machine

NAME DESCRIPTION

Instance Data Block Instance data block

Contains the static variables, the images of the block's inputs/outputs

Par_db Data block containing the function parameters

(Parameters data block)

Index Index of the set of parameters to be used (bottle code)

(Index) Used to apply different parameters to several container formats.
Address of the 1st parameter = Index * 40

Start_outc Authorisation to start machine discharge conveyor

(Start out conveyor) Comes from the machine (No machine emergency stop, doors closed, etc.)

Start_disp Authorisation to start dispatcher conveyors

(Start dispatcher) This includes: line running, no emergency stop, no motor default

Out_ps Stand by photocell

(Out photoswitch) Connect the sensor input which must '"wake up" the dispatcher.
If this input is on 0, standby is de-activated.

Ds_accu Downstream accumulation

(Downstream accumulation) Connect the accumulation information from the first sensor directly downstream (often the first
sensor of the table, direction of flow).

Fast empty Fast empty option on dispatcher

(Fast empty) Used to run the dispatcher to a configured higher fixed speed when the machine is no more
discharging containers. To empty faster at the end of production, connect the zone emptying
information to it.

Mach_conv_feedback Discharge conveyor is running

(Machine discharge conveyor running Discharge conveyor is running, only if discharge motor driven by machine. If this motor is driven
feedback) by discharger, input must be take to 1.

DB_Mot_out Discharge conveyor is running

(Machine outlet Motor DB) Discharge conveyor is running, only if discharge motor driven by machine. If this motor is
driven by discharger, input must be take to 1.

DB_Mot1 to DB_Mot8 Data base from the first discharge motor to the 8th.
(Discharger Motor DB) Let free if not use.Permit to receive the motor name (Motor_name) and the maximum
speed (Max_speed).

DB_Mot_wav Data base of the waver motor.

Function bloc parameter 1/2
NAME DESCRIPTION

Min_sp_out Minimum speed on discharge motor in container/minute

(Machine outlet conveyor minimum speed) Avoids the motors running at too low speeds and consequently overheating. Setting range:
equivalent to 7.5Hz, the slowest motor.

Min_sp_dis Minimum dispatcher speed in container/minute

(Discharger conveyors minimum speed) Avoids the motors running at too low speeds and consequently overheating. Setting range:
equivalent to 7.5Hz, the slowest motor.

Fast_empty_sp_dis Fast empty speed in container/minute

This is the speed that is substituted for the machine speed when the latter is no more supplying
(Discharger conveyors hi-speed empty out)
containers and the Fast_empty option is activated.
Setting range: As high as possible without problems!

Wav_start_sp Waver start speed in container/minute

(Waver start threshold) Speed of the dispatcher above which the waver must start in order to ensure correct distribution
of the containers.
Setting range: approx. 1/3 of maximum speed in cpm

Wav_stop_sp Waver stop speed in container/minute

(waver stop threshold) Speed of dispatcher below which the waver must stop to avoid the containers falling over
Setting range: approx. 1/4 of maximum speed in cpm

Wav_sp Waver speed in rpm

(Waver speed)
Setting range: depends on bottle and format (83rpm)

Ramp Fast acceleration/deceleration ramp. In Cpm/s

(Acceleration and deceleration It is used to smooth the global speed of motors. It is refreshed every cycle.
Ramp) Typical value: 400 Cpm/s

T_out_empty Emptying time of machine discharge motor

(Machine outlet conveyor empty Set the time in 1/10ths of second that a container takes to cover the distance between the stand
by photocell and the following transfer, at the machine's lowest operating speed (add 20~30)
timer)
Setting range: variable according to configuration

The standby mode is inhibited if the parameter is negative or zero.
Setting range: variable according to configuration

Motor_param.Length Bottle diameter in mm

(Bottle length)

Motor_param.Motor_out.Gap Distance between two bottle in mm
