Who is Ms. V?
I am an alumni of O.L.M.C.
(06), St. Joseph Hamm (10)
and Stockton University
(14).
I have graduated with a B.A.
in Literature with a
concentration in Education.
This is my second year
teaching at O.L.M.C.
I am also a coach for three
different high school sports:
Head Cross Country coach
Assistant Basketball coach
Head Track and Field coach

Students should sit quietly and
patiently in their seats with
respect to the teacher and other
students.
Students should complete all
homework and assignments in a
timely manner.
Students should respect all
thoughts and opinions when other
students are speaking.
Students should actively
participate in class.
Students should be responsible
for their own work and take
responsibility if work is
incomplete or missing.
Ms. Vs Strike Out Behavior System

Each student will have this Strike Out system on


their desk. Here is the three strike system.
Strike 1: a warning.
Strike 2: second warning, a little more severe, possible sit out
from recess.
Strike 3: final warning. A Student Action Report will be issued.
3 S.A.R.s = detention, no excuses.
Ms. Vs Homework Policy
Homework will be assigned
each night expect three to
four subjects a night and an
hour to an hour and a half of
work.
Missing work will result in a 15
pt. deduction each day. Eg.
Missing homework Day 1 =
85% instead of a 100%
Almost all homework will be
graded. This can only help
your grade. If you complete
all work, because you tried,
you will get credit.

Ms. Vs Words of Wisdom
Students should always be prepared to WRITE- we perform
writing in almost all subjects. Be prepared to use a dictionary
and thesaurus.
Student should look over subject material each night. Be
prepared for pop quizzes and small projects.
Students should be ready for group work and pair work sharing
ideas is a key component to classroom success.
Do not be afraid to work hard, there will be reward!

Students have these beads
attached to the sides of their
desks.
When independent work is
given, students will indicate
how well they understand the
subject material.
Students will show the bead
and gives me a chance to
come around and help where
it is due and encourage
students who understand the
material to be a helping hand
to others.
