DEFINITION

THE MALAYSIA SMART SCHOOL IS A


LEARNING INSTITUTION THAT HAS BEEN
SYSTEMATICALLY REINVENTED IN TERM
OF TEACHING-LEARNING PRACTICES AND
SCHOOL MANAGEMENT IN ORDER TO
PREPARE CHILDREN FOR THE
INFORMATION AGE
OBJECTIVES
TO PRODUCE A KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY THAT IS CRITICAL, CREATIVE AND
INNOVATIVE.
TO PRODUCE TECHNOLOGY SAVVY INDIVIDUALS FOR THE INFORMATION AGE.
TO BRIDGE THE DIGITAL DIVIDE.
TO CULTIVATE LIFE-LONG LEARNING BASED ON ICT.
PRODUCE A THINKING AND TECHNOLOGY-LITERATE WORKFORCE.

CONCLUSION
To ensure the successful implementation of Smart Schools ,
the effort to prepare teachers as catalysts cannot be
ignored any more.

The process of training transfer which is evident and


continuous is very important and will ensure that it
becomes a national agenda for implementation on
continuous basis.

This effort must be managed together and not thrust upon


the shoulders of the teachers alone.
