Encarnacion, Bryant Rei, Ogier Castedo Introduction Animals make up this planet and they provide us many necessities in our life. If one animal goes extinct in the food web, the whole thing gets messed up and that leads to its prey to increase, or its predators population to decrease, or the predator itself to go extinct. Endangerment is when a certain animal is near extinction, when the population of the certain animal decreases drastically. This is caused by Human carelessness or the popular sport of Hunting along with global warming and etc. Animals Affected By Global Warming Many animals are being affected by global warming. Animals such as polar bears and reindeers. For example, the Reindeer is covered with thick fur if the climate gets warmer they will get hot and their thick fur won't work well for them at all. Another animal being affected by global warming are polar bears. For example polar bears look for seals in the ice but the ice is melting so getting food for them is harder since the ice is melting. Animals Affected By Hunting & Human Testing Many animals all over the world are hunted for their body parts. They are hunted to the point where they go endangered. For example, elephants are hunted for their tusks, without their tusks elephants struggle living so instead they die out. Some hunters just kill thinking the animal is dangerous, even though it might not be. Not only that but we also test on animals against their will. Animals are also affected by human testing. Millions of animals are being taken by scientists to experiment on them. Scientists test vaccines and medicines on animals to see how they react and what works. They do these tests on animals instead of humans because they dont want to kill humans, if the vaccine or medicine doesnt work. Animals Affected By Deforestation Habitat loss is another way we humans impact animals. As we cut down trees and build buildings where the trees are supposed to be, we destroy ecosystems along with animal communities and animal homes while we take down forests and trees. When we do this it leaves such a negative impact, that it comes back and affects us, animals end up dying out, without their habitat, which provides them food and shelter, and animals provide us many necessities along with food and these harmful chemicals we put in the air while building these buildings, taking down trees in the process, ruin the main thing that most living things depend on. Which is oxygen. Trees provide oxygen, which we humans can live without. Stand Up And Act Why stand around doing nothing, while having the opportunities to at least start making these creative posters and slogans in support against endangered species who are getting closer and closer to become extinct, or being completely wiped out of the face of the Earth. Furthermore, we should all fight for what we believe is right, in this case the protection over animals that are being hunted for their fur to use as clothing, or just their head to hang up on their wall. This is basically, a graph predicting the increase of vulnerable animals to extinction, endangered species, and animals in a critical state, in the next several years. Less that 15 By a thousand
percent of the 8.7 million species
on earth have been discovered, which is about 1 million rounded, species discovered, we will be hurting about 460 thousand species in the next century and who knows the amount we are hurting, the ones that we havent discovered yet? At least 86% of species on planet earth havent been discovered. Ways To Prevent Animals Going Endangered When you see a poacher speak up and(Conclusion) tell someone
We could find these animals other places to live in before demolishing their homes
We can give them nutritional provisions
We can stop hunting animals for fun
We can make donations that support these animals
We can pass laws that will prevent these animals from getting hurt or extinct
We can call to action by school activities
After school programs dedicated to treating endangered species
We can make civic activities considered for endangered species.
