Service Learning Experience
The outcome for my project was
great! I did not expect to find out all
this information about children and
depression when I had ask questions
and interview people about it like who
can you go to for depression and how
can you control depression thoughts.
As I was making my website, I felt
like depression is serious cause of
how it make people feel and how they Service Learning Website
can really hurt themselves by just
feeling alone.
Solutions
~ talk to someone about your problems.
~ never hold anything inside.
~ find things to get into to take your mind off the situations.
Personal Reflection
While doing my project, I learned many new things about children and depression
and how chemicals can create an imbalance in the brain. I learned that this
imbalance can also lead to high blood pressure, diabetes, and stress headaches.
This research experience and putting information together about my topic had its
challenging moments, but overall I am happy with the product. In addition, I have
learned many valuable skills about conducting research, looking for credible
sources, and putting together an effective powerpoint presentation.
