Industrial Engineering
Origins
There is a general
consensus among
historian that the
roots of the Industrial
Engineering Profession
date back to the
Industrial Revolution.
Industrial Engineers make processes better in the
following ways:

More efficient and more profitable business practices

Better customer service and product quality
Increased ability to do more with less
Helping companies produce more products quickly
Making the world safer through better designed products
Chemical Engineering
It is a branch of engineering that deals with the design, evaluation,
planning, construction and operation of all kinds of elements in the
process industry is related to the production of compounds and
products whose production requires sophisticated physical and
chemical transformations.
Areas of study chemical engineering

Chemical engineering is based on the basic sciences:

Mathematics
Thermodynamics
Transport phenomena
Chemical kinetics
Applied disciplines
Performance area of chemical
engineers
Chemical engineering really is not the study of pure chemistry, yes
it looks for chemical engineers to learn the basic concepts of
chemistry, but the area of performance of this race is not in a
laboratory conducting experiments, processes and making new
discoveries, this corresponds to other professionals whose career
focuses on working directly in laboratories.
The chemical engineer is usually located in the industrial area and
its performance is in the area of industry and production.
Systems engineering
Is an interdisciplinary field of engineering that focuses on how to design and
manage complex engineering systems over their life cycles.
Issues such as requirements engineering, reliability, logistics, coordination of different
teams, testing and evaluation, maintainability and many other disciplines necessary for
successful system development, design, implementation, and ultimate decommission
become more difficult when dealing with large or complex projects.
Systems engineering deals with work-processes, optimization methods, and risk
management tools in such projects. It overlaps technical and human-centered disciplines
such as industrial engineering, control engineering, software engineering, organizational
studies and project management.
Systems engineering ensures that all likely aspects of a project or system are considered,
and integrated into a whole.
Civil Engineering

It is the branch of engineering

that is responsible for managing
and carrying out construction
projects houses, roads, canals,
airports, bridges, buildings and
related constructions.
What a civil engineer do?

It is dedicated to manage and

plan all processes of the work,
with the aim of delivery under
the rules set by law for the
construction, also engage in the
design and calculation of
different projects are met.
Civil Engineer workplace

Here are some of the most

common areas where they work:

1. Infrastructure works
2. Project Management
3. Works Transportation
4. Hydraulic Works
5. Sewerage
6. Inspection of civil works (Labor
government)
Mechanical Engineering
Kevin Daniel Ramrez Argueta 20140-3876
Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical engineering involves the analysis,
desing, manufacturing and maintenance of
mechanical systems.
His ares of work include conversin,
distributin and use of energy, materials
processing, control and automation of
manufacturing processses, in addition to the
desing, development, operation and
maintenance of machines and solutions to
enviromental problems.
Functions of the mechanical Engineer

The primary functions of the mechanical

engineer, can be cited
1.Understanding of the bases of mechanical
science
2.The desing and developmment of mechanical
machines
3.Planing the maintenance of the machines
ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
What is electronic engineering?
Electronics engineering is that branch of electrical engineering
concerned with the uses of the electromagnetic spectrum and
with the application of such electronic devices as integrated
circuits, transistors, and vacuum tubes.
What is the difference between
electronic engineering and electrical
engineering ?
Electronic Engineering specializes in low voltage circuits

Electrical Engineering specializes in high voltage electrical circuits

Applications of electronic engineering
