Making India a Superpower

Do you know which country has the highest youth population, the
inspired people with unrealistic vision and ambition in the world?

The USA?

Japan?

China?
INDIA !

Good Morning everyone, today I Harshita am here, a part of that youth


population of a potential superpower, our country India.

Together we believe India can take over the world.

Lets see how.


Why India
Demographic Advantage
With 356 million 10-24 year-olds, India has the worlds largest youth
population.

The proportion of working age population in India is likely to reach


more than 64% by 2021, with a large number of young persons in the
20-35 age group.

Fastest Growing Economy


Lower labour costs.

Largest producers of doctors. 50,000 in 2016 as compared to 18,000


from USA.

Largest producer of engineers.

Booming IT industry.
What stops us?
Ranked 3rd in highest disparity between rich and poor.

21.9% below poverty line

Skyrocketing population. Set to have highest population by 2022.

Lack of funds, medical facilities and infrastructure for prevalent


population.

Lack of education. 24% India still uneducated .


What are we doing about it?
A new vigorous large scale movement seems to be coming about.

Inspired and headed by our Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi and


being joined and promoted by highly educated adults and the youth of
our country alike, this movement has is gaining momentum and is all
set to make India great again.

What is happening exactly ?


The Make in India campaign
OBJECTIVES

Facilitate investment.
Foster innovation.
Enhance skill development.
Protect intellectual property.
Build best-in-class manufacturing infrastructure.
While its too early to measure progress of this campaign started in
September, 2014 there are some things to be talked about.

Oppo jumps on to Make in India bandwagon; to start India plant


by August.

Fiat plans for Make in India.

Airbus Group aims to increase its sourcing of aerospace parts from


Indian companies to $2 billion in the next five years.

Hitachi has agreed to set up aauto-component plant in and some


reports say that Huawei will invest 170 million dollars to set up RnD
center here in India.

Development of about 7000 km of national highways under Bharatmala
Pariyojana.

A 19% increase in girl's enrolment from 2002 to 2011.
