It can be seen in the Figure 3 above that the biggest persentage number of solid waste density in the

transport vehicle is in the range of 200-299 kg/m3 which is about 24% and the least is in the range 100-199
kg/m3 at 4%. Solid waste density values in the vehicle which has a range greater than the 200-299 kg/m3
has a percentage amount between 7-21%. these results different from those mentioned in the literature that
says that the density in the transport vehicle is worth about 300-400 kg/m3 (Tchobanoglous, 1994). This is
because the amount of generation that exceed the capacity of the transport vehicle itself.
From the observation and measurement results it was obtained a description of TPS condition in North
Bandung area, the description of these conditions can be seen in Figure 1. In Figure 1 the container capacity
TPS is compared to the amount of solid waste generation at the same TPS. It appears that nearly all TPS
generation has exceed the existing container capacity.
