 Image mode control

- B : Allows you to switch to B mode from scanning mode.
- BB : Allows you to choose either left or right image in the dual B mode.
- M :This button is to turn the M Mode on.
- HAR : Allows you to view the Harmonic Image in B mode. Each probe type decides whether
Harmonic mode is applied or not.
- 3D : Displays images in three dimensions.
- FRE : You can change the probe frequency according to the scanning areas in the probe
where Multi frequency is available.

Menu control
- Report : Reports the outcomes on the screen after measuring all variables.
- Set up : Gets the System set up.
- Application : Allows you to change Application and set parameters probe-by-probe.
 Scanning control
- Depth : Adjusts the depth of scanning.
- Zoom : Magnifies scanning areas.
- Focus : Moves the currently indicated focus upward or downward.
- Direction : Shifts the scanning direction of probe to right or left with no probe movement.
- Apex : Shifts the scanning direction of probe to up or down with no probe movement.
- Focus number : Adjusts the number and position of Focusing Points. By pressing the soft
button [1] and [2], you can set the Focusing Point to a desired area or delete it.

Tackball function
- Measure : The menu for complicated measurements and calculations appears depending on
the scanning area at the moment. (set in the Application in Probe menu)
- Indicator :display an arrow-shaped indicator.
- Body Marker :This button is to display the list of Body markers.
- Caliper : Allows you to measure some basic variables such as velocity, distance,
circumference, and area according to the scanning mode at the moment.
- Document : Allows you to attach the explanation about scanning in letters or other symbols
to an image.
 Menu control
- Probe : Allows you to shift the kinds of probes.
- SonoView : Executes Sonoview, an image filing software to file the scanned images of patient.
- Image save : Saves the desired image in file and stores it in the memory unit.
- Application : Allows you to change Application and set parameters probe-by-probe.
- ID : display a Setup dialog box to setup the parameters related to the system.
- End exam : Ends the measurement or diagnosis of patients.
TCG control : You can control the TGC values by depth using eight slides.

Freeze :This button is to turn the image scanning on or off. In frozen state, Cine function,
saving, printing out and measuring the image are available.

Print :This button is to print out the image viewed on the current Image Area into a
configured echo printer.
Image Filing : This button is to operate SonoView, which is an Image Filing program.
Store : The store button saves the image viewed on the current Image Area in database.
The saved image can be controlled through SonoView.

 The Shortcut Key functions assigned to the Alpha-numeric keyboard
- A (Application) : Allow you to change Application and set parameters probe-by-probe.
- B (Body mark) : Records the figures describing the scanning areas or posture along with
images. You can change the shapes of Body Mark and Probe, using Change key.
- I (Indicate) : Moves or indicates the arrow while you are explaining the diagnosis regardless
of the measurement.
- M (M-line) : Line appears on 2D image. If changed to M mode or D mode, it appears as
M Line and Sample Volume Line, respectively.
- Q (3d mode) : Displays images in three dimensions.
- T (Text) : Allow you to attach the explanation about scanning in letters or other symbols to an
image.
- X (End exam) : Completing measurement and diagnosis of patients.
- Z (Zoom) : Magnifies scanning areas.

- B : This button is to shift the Image Mode to the 2D Mode. Since this system includes basically
2D images except for some special cases, the user cannot turn the 2D off when desired.
- C : This button is to turn the Color Mode on. While the color mode is on, one more press of
this button turns it off.
- D : This button is to turn the PW Spectral Doppler Mode on. While the PW Spectral Doppler
Mode is on, one more press of this button turns it off.
- PD : This button is to turn the Power Doppler Mode on.
- M : This button is to turn the M Mode on.
- Gain :You can control Gain each other image mode.

- Focus : Up-down switch. The user can make the focusing point go up and down.
- Depth : The user can make the view angle.
- Zoom : Change the size of the Zoom box by controlling the switch. You can select images
by pressing the [Set] button.

 Color & Doppler image controls
- Sound : This knob is to control the sound volume.
- Angle : This knob is to control the angle of Sample Volume in Spectral Doppler Mode.
- Power : Turning this knob adjusts the Acoustic Power of the system.
- Base line : This switch is to control the Baseline in Spectral Doppler Mode or Color Doppler
Mode. (including Power Doppler)
- Speed : This switch is to control the Sweep Speed in Spectral Doppler Mode or M Mode.
- Scale : This switch is to control the speed of blood flow or frequency range in Spectral
Doppler Mode.
- Sensitivity : control the Sensitivity values in Color Doppler (Power Doppler) Mode.
- Filter : control the Wall Filter values.
- Steer : This button is to alter the angle of ROI (Region of Interest) in Color Doppler Mode.
This operation is only available for Linear Probe.

Zoom mode by pressing the [Exit] button.
- Depth : If this switch is up, the depth of image is shallow. Conversely switch-down results in
a deeper image.
- Focus : The user can make the focusing point go up by putting up the switch and can make
the focusing point go down by putting it down.

Measurement : display some menus that can be possibly measured in the selected
application or image mode. Also you can select [Caliper] menu that you can
carry out basic calculations such as distance and circumference.
Annotation Controls
- Body mark : This button is to display the list of Body markers.
- Indicator : display an arrow-shaped indicator.
- Text : This button is for a user to input a text on the image.
 TCG control : You can control the TGC values by depth using eight slides.

Function Controls
- E mail : With this button, you can send the last saved image of the user to the E-Mail address
input at patient data. If there is any problem in setup or connection of Network, a
warning message appears. If E-Mail is not input at patient data, press [E-Mail] button
to move to patient data screen.
- FSI : Press FSI (Full Spectrum Image) button to view the image being scanned more clearly.
The FSI function has 3 steps and appears on the screen as FSI 0.
