Course Outline
The course has been outlined to provide students with the
essential knowledge and skills needed to confidently design, configure, manage and troubleshoot any wired and wireless networks
The course has been designed as an industry preparative
initiative helping the students to be exposed as how to work with a variety of hardware, software and network environments Course Outcome As a pre-domain course it is designed to instill interest among the students for choosing the Internet Security domain in the higher semesters At the end of the semester students are expected to have acquaintance for Network Certification Exams as the course has been structured to cover the following topics: Network architecture Network operations Network security Troubleshooting Industry standards, practices and network theory Syllabus and Pedagogy

oriented questions as a necessary acquaintance for Certification Exams

The assessment scheme will consider marks for the following :-
Assignments ( 3 in total amounting to 5 marks) Quizzes ( 10 in total amounting to 5 marks ) Internals( 30 marks in total ) Two written tests conducted as per University norms One Presentation on a practical scenario simulated using Packet Tracer and to be supported with a REPORT on the analysis of the given situation highlighting the solution suggested Suggested Books, Ebooks
