managers and employees work together to plan, monitor
and review an employee's work objectives and overall
contribution to the organization.
Oracle Performance Management
Oracle Performance Management is a part of the Oracle Human Resources
family of applications and talent management processes.
Oracle HRMS Performance Management gives an introduction of the
functionalities and usage of performance management software.
Participants
are also taught how they can establish a WPM (Workforce
Performance Management) system.
Talent management is essentially the identification, development,
evaluation and retention of workers who have the competencies
the enterprise needs to meet business objectives.

Performance Appraisal is the systematic evaluation of the


performance of employees and to understand the abilities of a
person for further growth and development.
APPRAISAL MANAGEMENT
Standard Appraisal (Manager-Employee)

The Manager-Employee appraisal is designed for a manager to


gather information about an employee and set objectives for them.
Also, helpful in performing one-to-one appraisal.
The one-to-one appraisal is useful when a manager performs an
annual review of an employees performance.
360 Degree Appraisal

360 Degree Feedback is a system in which employees receive


confidential, anonymous feedback from the people who work
around them.

360 degree appraisal should be conduct by subordinates, peers,


managers, team members, customers, suppliers/vendors or anyone
who comes into contact with the employee and can provide valuable
insights and information.
Self Appraisal
Self Appraisals are initiated by employees who want to
rate their own performance and is private until published
by the employee.
The self appraiser can access and update the
Competence Evaluation Region. This enables an
appraiser to enter their own scores for their own
competencies.
A self appraiser has no access to overall Performance
Rating System.
Importance of Feedback
Motivates employees to perform better.

Feedback improves performance.

Helps in meeting the professional goals of the company


and improving competencies between the employees.
