SPEAKING PAPER - PART 3

Describe one colour photograph, talking for about a

minute.
 Task information
The interlocutor instructs each candidate in turn.
The candidates take turns to speak for about 1 minute
each.
Each candidate is given one colour photograph to
describe. The photographs show everyday situations
which are relevant to the age group. The photographs
have a common theme.
The candidates describe what they can see in their
photograph.
When they have finished, they give their photograph
back to the interlocutor.

Show your vocabulary off.
Keep it simple, dont speculate.
Use words and phrases to organize your speech.
Do this:
Look carefully and take your time.
Describe the general situation.
Describe people: clothes, accessories, hair, colours, etc.
Describe scenery: outdoor, indoor, weather, light (time),
room, furniture, etc.
Describe the situation in detail.
