EXPERIMENTS WITH WATER

THE COIN

YOU WILL NEED:

• A COIN
• A PLATE
• WATER
• A CANDLE
• A GLASS
• LIGHTER OR MATCHES

 Put some water on the plate.  Insert the coin into the plate.

Can you take out the coin with the fingers without getting your fingers wet?

THIRD STEP FINALLY

Put the candle on the plate. Cover the candle with the glass.

Then the glas absorbs the water

FLOATING EGG

YOU WILL NEED:

• WATER
• 3 GLASSES
• 3 EGGS
• SALT
• SUGAR

 Fill the 3 glasses with water.  Put a lot of salt on one glass, a lot of sugar
in other glass and the last one leave it like
this.

 Introduce the 3 eggs on the glasses

YOU WILL NEED:

• A PAPER
• SOME WATER
• SOAP
• A STICK FOR THE EARS
• TRAY

Cut the paper like this arrow. Put a little bit of water on the tray.
SOLUTION

THIRD STEP FINALLY

Put the arrow on the water. Wet the stick in the soap and introduce it on
the middle of the arrow.

Then the arrow will go out.

• A RUBBER BAND
• SOME WATER
• TIGHT
• A GLASS

 Place the tight on the top of the glass.  Hold it with the rubber band.

Put your hand on the top and turn it around.
Fill the glass with water.

ICE CUBES

YOU WILL NEED:

• AN ICE CUBE
• SOME WATER
• SALT
• A GLASS
• A ROPE

Fill the glass with water. Introduce the ice cube in the water.

Put the rope on the ice. Put a little bit salt on the ice.
