Learning time

Planned time : The amount of time planned by teachers on subjects and activities.
Allocated time: The amount of time teacher actually spends on paticular subject, task, or
activity in the classroom.
Engaged time : The amount of time students actually spend on an activity or task (also
called time on task).
Academic learning time : The amount of time a student spends engaged in a task at which
he or she is successful.
Time needed : The time an individual student actually needs to master a task.
