Today, the woman in the world is considered multifunctional because the women do
several jobs in your daily life. Many women work in government, they work in large
companies, they have prosperous businesses, they are in politics, they are go teachers,
they are great scientists besides to be wives and mothers. The most interesting thing
about this is that what they do they do very well. But unfortunately, despite this,
many women still face distressing, discriminatory, violent and marginal situations.
Nevertheless, some countries such as Denmark, Canada and others are concerned
about human rights, gender equity, income equality, security and progress.
In Colombia, women have managed to acquire great changes over the last few
years that have led them to find jobs in government and companies. The
thinking of many men has changed and now they allow women to work and be
a great economic support for the home. The Colombian law protects women
and gives equal opportunities to men, preventing women from being
discriminated or mistreated.

Despite the modernity and laws that protect women, in Colombia there are
cases of mistreatment of women regardless of their ages. The law punishes
the man who mistreats but there are cases in which it seems that man is not
afraid of the law and continues to do so. Schools and universities play a
fundamental role by proposing a free education of discrimination and
mistreatment of human, especially women. From there, we can wait a
generation of future youths educated in respect and tolerance with women.
Many norms have been enacted in Colombia to enforce women's rights and
protect them one of them is the political constitution. Every year the judicial
offices receive thousands of complaints and complaints from females related to
discrimination and violence that for the most part take time to be resolved,
some are no longer solved. strong laws are needed to end violence against
women.

It is expected that in a few years the violence against women will end, only in
this way can we enjoy women and men with equal rights and work
opportunities free from abuse. To end the woman is a gift that God has given us
this must be cared for, protected and loved, making her feel a queen in every
sense of the word.
