My video is about a guy who is in love with a girl from high school but at the
beginning of the song there is a sense that they are not together
anymore, yet he still loves her and is trying to get her back Eventhough he is
in another relationship, but one day he bumps into his high school love in a store. Whilst in the
store they both hear their song playing in the background, and both say to each other Dzthis is
our songdz there is a moment silence. They exchange numbers, as they do this, the guy
notices an engagement ring on the girl, he says to her Dzyoure engaged?dz she replies Dzyesǥdz
and says she has to go.
The guy, goes home and looks at photoǯs when they were together, he realises he still loves her.
Right at the end, it ends with the girl calling him, saying DzIǯve left himǥ I still love youdz

The music video, DVD cover and magazine will have a link together in
order to sell the brand, through having the characters in the video to be
on the covers. The DVD cover and magazine will show a relationship
through the colour scheme ( by having the same colour scheme).

 The targeted age group I will be aiming towards will be 16 ʹ 25.
I have chosen this age range, as the story of my music video is to do with love. Having a younger target audience
will not work as not many, if any, young teenagers tend to be in love. One of the main themes is love, followed
by relationships and marriage.

 The music video will be aimed towards a female audience. As I feel that it will appeal to them more, as
women tend to be the one͛s who fall in love and think about marriage ʹ etc.

 As I have targeted a female audience they will be interested in going out, shopping ʹ
which conforms the stereotype that women ͞shop͟.

j Ô isting media consumption: They watch music channels such as MTV base, as this channel shows mainly R͛n͛B
and hip-hop artists, they may also watch Channel AKA (channel U) which also shows this genre of music, from
british artists.
They would also watch the other MTV channels, and watch movies such as Step UP ʹ as there soundtrack have hip-hop
and R ͚n͛ B music.

o the style of my music video will be similar to videos of RǯnǯB artists
today, such as Neo o, usher, mario etc.
oIt will have a narrative structure, due to the fact that there is a story
being told within the video which I mentioned before.
o It also has elements of a performance, as the people in the video will be
acting.
