“1. Select and use appropriate methods for evaluation of
outcomes.”

Based off the well-being output of clients, such as the

increased ability to manage finances better throughout
services, placement in a better living arrangement, forming
of healthier relationships, and overall healthier behavior
patterns, we are able to evaluate in Adult Services whether
the intervention outcomes were successful.

*
“2. Apply knowledge of human behavior and the social
environment, person-in-environment, and other
multidisciplinary theoretical frameworks in the evaluation of
outcomes.”
Considering each adults individual needs and circumstances
garnish whether or not outcomes are successful in adult
services. If a client is a substance long-term abuser, we must
take that in consideration when evaluating intervention
outcomes as to how often they relapse, the setting in which
they are now placed after receiving services, and if
interventions are effective and not harmful to the client.

*
* “3. Critically analyze, monitor, and evaluate
intervention and program processes and
outcomes.”
In adult services we do so through consist case
management. With every client depending on
their need, we complete quarterlies or annual
record reviews to re-establish the well-being
and any improvement or decline the client has
experienced since last assessment to monitor
whether services have been effective.

*
* 4. Apply evaluation findings to improve
practice effectiveness at the micro, mezzo,
and macro levels.”
Interventions and methods that are found to be
effective towards one client in adult services
provide implications of how to deal with similar
clients in the unit along with collaboration with
other social services across multiple counties.
