NTPS – Highlights and records for FY 2017-18 NTPS

Achieved all MERC Performance Parameters Norms except AVF =>

1) Station HR (kCal/kWh) : Norm 2736 , Achieved 2690, Gain on SHR.

2) Aux. Power Consn (%) : Norm 11.00 , Achieved 10.66, Gain on APC.

3) Fuel Oil Consn.(ml/kWh) : Norm 1.50 , Achieved 0.818, Gain on SFOC.

4) Transit Loss (%) : Norm 0.80 , Achieved 0.61, Gain on Transit Loss.

5) MERC AVF (%) : Norm 80 , Achieved 73.55, Fixed Cost recovery @ 92

%.

6) Unit-4 : Achieved Fuel Oil Consn 0.553 ml/kWh which is the Record
Lowest since commissioning. ( Previous Best was 0.747 ml/kWh in FY
2016-17 ).
7) Unit-4 MERC AVF 88.18 % during the year which is highest amongst all
MAHAGENCO Units.

8) Unit-4 : Only One BTL during the year. This is the Record Lowest since
commissioning. ( Previous Best was 2 Nos. BTL in FY 2016-17 ).

9) NTPS have collected Rs. 6.73 Crores Scrap from sites & deposited to
Major Store during the year which is highest since long. Out of this,
Rs. 4.33 Crores Scrap auctioned on 15-02-2018.

10) Coal demurrage charges during the year is only Rs. 4.78 Lakhs (as
against Rs. 49.10 Lakhs in FY 2016-17) which is Record lowest since
commissioning & Lowest among all TPS of Mahagenco for this year.
Zero demurrage during the month of Apr-17, Nov-17, Jan-18 & Mar-18.

11) 100 % R&M Budget utilisation during the year. This is the second
consecutive year of 100 % R&M Budget utilisation.

12) Zero Accident during the year.
