2) Using what you’ve learned from studying the various
motivation theoris, what does Patagonia’s situation tell you
about employee motivation?
Principle management:
From what I have learn about motivation is that Patagonia
motivation is influenced by workplace issues being able to
handle crises in the tough economy
Yvon wants to be motivated and loyal to the company by
giving employees high level task significance that work is
meaningful
I think that many employees would be very motivated from
external. Therefore, it can make many employees at various
companies feel as if they were important give the challenges to
make decision
3.What do you think might be Patagonia’s biggest challenge in
keeping the employees motivated?
Make sure the work procedures are effective and easy to understand.
for example all employee must be informed clearly about the tasks
that have to do.
