INTRODUCTION
Topic: How is academic performance (GPA) impacted by
nutritional choices?
• We asked:
• Demographics (sex, year of study, GPA)
• Number of meals eaten per day
• Amount of caffeine in oz. consumed a day
• Collected data from surveys given on Google Docs Form
• Obtained 133 responses

ANALYSIS
• Majority of respondents were freshman
• Then sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students respectively
• Juniors drink the most caffeine (Graduate students in second place)
• Graduate students have highest GPA (represented smallest number of
participants)
• Seniors ate the most meals on average
• Freshman ate the least amount of meals on average
• The majority of participants eat home cooked meals the most
THOUGH THE RESULTS WERE INTERESTING, WE
FOUND THERE WAS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN
STUDENT’S NUTRITION AND THEIR ACADEMIC
PERFORMANCE (GPA)
