Course expectations.

I like the classes where it is very dynamic that helps me to

learn better, in my point of view I hope to have good grades
in the subject and mainly to be able to learn what is more.

In this English course 6, I hope to learn more about the

grammatical rules and vocabulary that I will handle in my
engineering. As I know, English is very important if I want to
have a job where I fully develop my career, since my goal is
to work in the industry and do what I like the most. Normally
English is a bit difficult for me, it is not easy for me, but it is my
goal to learn it.

-------Good morning teacher, good morning classmates, we'll talk about electric cars and gasoline cars
WHAT IT IS?
An electric car is an automobile that is propelled (pripeld) by one or more electric motors, using electrical
energy stored in rechargeable ( richaryebol) batteries. The first practical electric cars were produced in the
1880s.
COMPONENTS
Charger
The charger is that element that absorbs electricity alternately directly from the grid and transforms it into
direct current, in order to charge the main battery.
Battery(baderi)
Lithium-ion batteries store the power delivered by the charger as a direct current (DC). This main battery is
the means by which the entire electric car is powered.
Converter(conveder)
The converter transforms the high voltage of direct current, which contributes the main battery, in low
voltage of direct current.
Investors
The inverters or inverters are in charge of transforming the direct current that yields the main battery, in
alternating current. That way you can feed the engine into alternating current of the electric car.
motor
The electric motor is a device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy by means of the
action of the magnetic fields generated in its coils. They are rotary electric machines composed of a stator
and a rotor.
COMPARISON
electric cars are more confortable that cars gasoline
An electric motor does not burn fuel during use, so it does not emit gases into the atmosphere.
electric cars are less powerful that cars gasoline
A series-produced electric motor is more compact, cheaper and much simpler than an internal
combustion engine. It does not need refrigeration circuit, nor oil, nor much maintenance.
It practically makes no noise at work and its vibrations are imperceptible.
electric cars are longer that cars gasolina.
it is too light
it is too spacious

it is too clean

How do electric cars recharge¿

Instead of refueling at a gas station, an electric car plugs into the grid to recharge its batteries. The electric
recharge can be done in the garage of house with a conventional take or with a more power, reducing in
half the time of load. Another way to do this is in the public recharging points.
CONCLUSION
Carbon dioxide emissions are lower compared to gasoline cars, but in their disadvantages we can see that
they need a lot of time for a full load. In my point of view, if I had the money for an electric car I would buy
it, it would be for pleasure.

English reflection.

I am satisfied with the subject, as this helps me to

better understand the manuals of the electronic and
mechanical components, as it is my guarantee that I
can be a good engineer someday.

I conclude the subject in a good way, since I learned

vocabulary that are necessary for my training, I can
say that this English was less heavy, compared to the
previous levels. the teacher as always gave his best
effort so that we learn and was very accessible for
our learning. As I conclude this level of English I hope
to continue improving and to be able to fulfill my
goals and dreams.
