SECURITY SURVEY
1. Physical Security- Physical security
measures are being used to define,
protect and monitor property rights and
assets. These measures consist of barriers
and devices that would detect, impede
and prevent unauthorized access to
equipment, facilities, material and
document and to safeguard them against
espionage, sabotage, damage and theft.
2. PERSONNEL SECURITY-it involves people,
both an asset to be protected and as a source
of security threats. It is an acknowledge fact
that losses are attributed mainly to
negligence or active participation of
employees, either through theft and
sabotage. Its purpose is to insure that a firm
hires those employees best suited for the
firm and once hired, to assist in providing the
necessary security to these employees while
they are carrying out their functions.
3. Document and Information Security
 A concrete wall delineates the rear portion of
the hotel from the residential houses.
 Top guard is also installed on top of this
concrete barrier.
 Cyclone fence with top guard protects the
staff house and nursery area from the
outside. During the survey it was observed
that some of the cyclone fences are already
destroyed.
 Concrete barrier is more than eight feet high
and is in good repair.
 Fences near the nursery must be immediately
repaired
 The perimeter is well lighted.
 However illumination is not sufficient to
detect any movement at 100 yards
 Lighting repairs are not made promptly due
to unavailability of replacement
 Extra lighting at entry points
• Parking spaces are provided for guests and
employees. It has a three-level parking space.
• Total parking space is eighty-three slots.
• A signage that reads: “PLEASE PARK FACING
THE WALL” is indicated at the wall.
• Parking slots are numbered.
• Monitored by CCTV cameras
• One guard monitoring the three parking
basement likewise said guard will be
providing assistance to incoming and
outgoing employees and vehicle.
 SITUATION AS
SURVEYED:
•No posted security
personnel at the
main entrance
•PR conducts traffic
at the Porte
Cochere area and in
front of Martinez 1
and 2.

Recommendation:
A fix guard post must be deployed at the main lobby
entrance to monitor the activities and maintain peace
and order thereat. Likewise this is also a requirement
prescribed by the National Accommodation Standards
for Hotel
