INTRODUCTION
 PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) are non-biodegradable and
its disposal is a problem.
 Fly ash is being accumulated as waste material in large
quantity near thermal power plants.
 The fiber of recycled to reduce the volume of material and
weight of the bricks.
 Its utilization as raw material in the manufacture of bricks will
proper and useful disposal also help in environmental
pollution.
OBJECTIVE OF WORK
 Determination of strength of fly ash plastic fiber
brick with using different composition materials.

 To reduce the dumping area of waste plastics.

 To produce the cost effective materials.
 To reduce the consumption of earth based material as

clay for the manufacturing of brick that resulted in

resource depletion, environmental degradation.
NEED OF WORK
 To increasing strength of fly ash brick.
 To produce economical brick as building

material.
 To reduce plastic degradation proble m.
 To reduce fly ash disposal problem.

LITERATURE REVIEW
3 A Study On S. Alan, V.Vignesh et al From the study it was
Mechanical (2015) concluded that PET strip
Properties Of Fly bricks have high
Ash Brick With compression strength,
Waste Plastic Strips modulus of rupture
which can be attributed
to the increased bonding
tendency of PET with
cement matrix.
4 Modern Technique M.S. Priya The rate of strength
in Fly Ash Bricks (2014) development is lower for
bricks containing only
quarry dust
at early ages. The rate of
strength gain is
significant after 28
days
MATERIALS AND METHODOLOGY
 Fly Ash :-
Fly ash refers to the ash produced during combustion of coal in thermal
power plant.
 OPC :-
It is a binder substance using for binding for raw material.
 Quarry Dust :-
Crushing process of the rock crushed into various sizes, during the
crushing process dust generated is known as Quarry Dust .

 Plastic Fibre :-
PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is the most common thermoplastic
polymer resin.

Discussion :-
Above observations the compression strength of fibre
fly ash brick contain 2% fibre is increasing as 7,14 and
28 days; And water is absorption less as 7,14 and 28
days respectively.
CONCLUSIONS
 The results shows the fly ash fiber bricks are economical and
lighter than conventional fly ash bricks
 Fly ash fiber brick masonry is environmentally eco friendly
because in this unit constituents can be substituted by waste
products like fly ash and recycled plastic material.
 It can be understood that fibre fly ash bricks are better
alternative to conventional fly ash bricks in structural,
functional and economic aspects; by use of this aspect we can
convert waste into wealth.
 Hence more study is required
