Lab Scenario

You have been given a spreadsheet containing

data exported from a sales database. The data is
in its raw form as it appears in the tables of the
original database—neither modification nor
summarization has been applied. You have been
asked to create a dashboard from the data that
can be used to analyze sales trends.
Lab Review

• In Exercise 1, you merged columns from the

SalesOrderHeaders, Customers, and Addresses
tables into the SalesItems table. What is the total
number of calls to the VLOOKUP() function made
in the completed SalesItems table?
• The original database includes a table named
Product. This table uses the ProductID as a
primary key and has a column called “Name”. How
could you enable users to select a product name
in the slicer instead of a product ID?
