THE SECTOR CONSTITUTES THE ‘PLANNING UNIT’ OF CHANDIGARH. IT IS MEANT TO BE SELF SUFFICIENT IN MEETING
THE DAY TO DAY NEEDS OF LIFE WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE WHICH MAKES EACH SECTOR COMPREHENSIBLE AS A UNIT.
