Seminary and Institute Enrollment and
Attendance Information
 Enrollment and attendance reports for youth and young adults are available
in MLS and on lds.org for most English speaking countries. On lds.org
sign in and go to the drop-down menu and select leader and clerk
resources.
 Priesthood leaders have received the Notice on the next slide.
 “The Bishopric oversees the enrollment of those who are eligible for
seminary and institute. The bishop and his counselors encourage:”
1. “All youth of the appropriate age (generally 14-18) to participate in
seminary.
2. All single postsecondary students to participate in institute. The
bishopric may also encourage married postsecondary students, as
well as young single adults who are not students, to participate in
institute as their needs and interests may be served (see 11.2.2)”
(See Handbook I: Stake Presidents and Bishops; 11.1.4) —2010).

reports because you don’t have Leader and Clerk Resources
(LCR) available then refer to the next few slides.

Creating the Reports

Select either
• Seminary Attendance Report
• Institute Attendance Report

Seminary Attendance Report
The Term-to-Date Attendance will
show how many times each
student has attended / the number
of class sessions held. A
percentage of 75% is required to
receive attendance credit for
seminary.

The Attendance Status will either


show “Not Enrolled”, “Good” for
those students with 75%
attendance or higher, or “Of
Concern” for those students with
attendance falling below 75%.

Printing the report will provide


additional information for each of
the youth in the ward.
