NXT Programming Environment

•allows you to create and modify NXT programs in


the NXT controller.

•You may connect the NXT controller using a


wireless Bluetooth connection (if available) or a
USB Cable.
NXT Programming Environment
A. Work Area
• This is where you place the programming object
to define the flow of the program.

B. Programming Palettes
• Contain all the blocks used to create a program.
• Click and drag the blocks to the work area to
create a program.

C. Configuration Panel
• This area is used to configure the different blocks
that makes the program.

D. Help Block
• It shows a short description of the currently
selected block.

E. Navigation Panel
• Lets you select which part of your program to
display in the work area when working with large
programs.

F. Controller Configuration
• It is a group of five buttons that configures
connection between the NXT Software and NXT
Controller.

• used to perform a set of instruction in a sequence
beam.

Configuration Panel.

•Maximize the programming by connecting blocks


to other blocks such as Loop, Wait or Switch.
