Faktor penyebab keberagaman itu

6 diantaranya :
 1. LETAK STRATEGIS WILAYAH INDONESIA

Letak Indonesia sangat strategis, yaitu

berada di antara Samudra Hindia dan
Samudra Pasifik.

Indonesia juga berada di antara Benua Asia

dan Benua Australia. Letak strategis
tersebut menjadikan Indonesia berada di
tengahtengah lalu lintas perdagangan. Para
pedagang dari berbagai negara datang ke
Indonesia. Mereka membawa agama, adat
istiadat, dan kebudayaan dari negaranya.
Banyak pendatang menyebarkan agama,
adat istiadat, dan kebudayaan negaranya,
baik dengan sengaja maupun tidak sengaja
 2. KONDISI NEGARA KEPULAUAN

Keadaan geografi Indonesia merupakan

wilayah kepulauan yang terdiri atas 13.466
pulau

Banyaknya pulau di Indonesia

menyebabkan penduduk yang menempati
satu pulau atau sebagian dari satu pulau
tumbuh menjadi kesatuan suku bangsa.
Tiap-tiap suku bangsa memiliki budaya
sendiri. Oleh karena itu, di Indonesia ada
banyak suku bangsa dengan budaya yang
berbeda-beda.
 3. PERBEDAAN KONDISI ALAM

Negara Indonesia sangat luas dan

terdiri atas 13.466 pulau. Tiap-tiap
pulau dibatasi oleh lautan. Selain itu,
Indonesia merupakan negara vulkanis
dengan banyak pegunungan, baik
gunung berapi maupun bukan
gunung berapi. Keadaan alam
Indonesia tersebut memengaruhi
keanekaragaman masyarakatnya.
