anatomy of the eye

vision physiology
The light passing through the cornea is passed through the pupil, then
focused by the lens to the back of the eye, the retina. The
photoreceptor of the retina collects the information that the eye
catches, then sends the information signal to the brain through the
optic nerve. All of these parts must work simultaneously to be able to
see an object.
The light beam will turn / refract when it travels from one medium to
another with a different density except when the light beam falls
perpendicular to the surface. The eyeball has four refractory media, a
medium that can refract light into the eye. Eye refractory media
consists of cornea, aqueous humor, lens, and vitreous humor. In order
for the shadow to fall right in the retina, the incoming light must
undergo refraction through the mediums. If there are abnormalities in
the refractory medium, the light may not fall directly on the retina.
