Multiple Geologic Units
EQuIS Geology supports up to five
completely user-definable geologic units.
While the driller’s interpretation is
important and must be preserved for
borehole logs, building a regional model
using many discrete layers may be
inappropriate or impossible.
Geologic units may be assigned manually
or using automated tools based on color,
material type, or other parameters.
Modeling, borehole logs, and other types
of visualization and analysis may then be
conducted using the default lithology or
any defined geologic unit.
Well Installation
EQuIS Geology is not only for subsurface
remediation data. The comprehensive
database structure is designed to support
the reporting requirements of regulatory
water agencies. Is this a new well? Is it
repaired? replaced? abandoned?
The database is an open, non-proprietary
structure. Thus, it is easy to make
modifications and customize to your
specific needs.
Scalability
EQuIS can be implemented as a single-
