SPRAYER TROLLEY

PROBLEM STATEMENT

• Generally, in the manually spreading of the fertilizer in the farm, some of the problems are
occurring like uneven spreading of fertilizers which may results in crop damage. Moreover, the
conventional spreading of fertilizer by hand in a farm is more time consuming and require
more human effort.
• In long term view, it will effect the backbone and the elbow of the user and it is not good for
health since it put so much strain on those part while using the manual knapsack sprayer.
• Therefore, coming up a technology that can ease the use of the user is very useful and it will
lead no harm to the user. The proposed technology will be able to pump water automatically
with just the use of your thumb finger.
OBJECTIVE

• To reduce the energy of labour


• To maximize the space area that can be applied by the pesticide.
• To reduce the time work of labour.
• To produce safe farming technology while increase the quality of farming
PROTOTYPE DIAGRAM
WORKING MECHANISM

• Firstly, water is filled inside a container and pesticide mixture in the automated knapsack
sprayer.
• Before proceeding to the farming activity, the nozzle can be adjusted to the suitable
height and width depends on the condition.
• Then, we can start pushing the trolley to do our work and the switch is turned on at the
handle of the trolley to start farming activity.
• After finishing spraying, the switch is turned off so that no more excess pesticide are
sprayed during idle of the trolley.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED

• Trolley (small for the best)


• Water Container
• Nozzle with hose
• 12V 130 PSI Diaphragm Water Pump
• Wires
• Switch
• 12 V lead acid battery @ Combination of vape battery
• Charger port for charging
