INTRODUCTION
◦ Definition of ozone
i. a colourless unstable toxic gas with a pungent odour and
powerful oxidizing properties, formed from oxygen by electrical
discharges or ultraviolet light. It differs from normal oxygen (O2)
in having three atoms in its molecule (O3). Stratosphere contain
the ozone layer

◦ Definition of ozone depletion

i. reduction in the concentration of ozone in the ozone layer.

CONCLUSION
There is no doubt that the problem of ozone depletion
exists and deserves extensive research and attention.
It is important that we as individuals educate
ourselves of the truths concerning the depletion of
ozone.
If each of us in this EVT520 class would be willing to
make a small sacrifice for the greater good, the future of
our ozone layer would undoubtedly would be secure.
