I. GROUND WATER
Water is carefully collected and received
through stainless steel pipes from
municipal water supply. It consists of
removing chlorines and THMs
(trihalomethanes) through a daily-
monitored activated carbon filtration
process.

II. SEDIMENTATION
The insoluble material rapidly settles down,
along with bacteria and particulate matter in
suspension in SEDIMENTATION TANK. This
absorbs the compounds responsible for the
objectionable colour and taste of water. It
reduces the microbial population of water, but
do not yield potable water. So the water
requires further treatment.
III.SAND FILTRATION
Filtration removes suspended matter and micro
organisms from water. Sand filters develop
microbial film on surface and becomes clogged.
They are cleaned by backwash in which cleaned
water is used.
PRESSURE SAND FILTER (PSF) is used for this
purpose.

IV.CARBON FILTRATION

Method of water purification used by

KELVINO is charcoal method to remove
contaminants and impurities, utilizing
chemical absorption. The charcoal tank is
washed once in a month to maintain the
cleanliness
V. MICRON FILTRATION
Micron filtration again involves double
filtration using filters that can remove matter
of the size 1 micron and then 0.5 micron.
In simple terms it Removes particles as fine as
0.5 microns. ( 50microns is the diameter of a
human hair)

VI. REVERSE OSMOSIS

The water is forced through the semi
permeable membrane under high
pressure. The membrane allows the
water to pass through but excludes the
majority of dissolved solids. It separates
100% bacteria from the water. RO uses
no chemicals. This is the world’s most
advanced water purification technology.
This process delivers clean, fresh and
healthful water.
VII.ULTRA VIOLET DISINFECTION
There are liquid purifiers which are
capable of emitting ultraviolet light at 254
nm wave length for complete destruction
of various micro-organisms.

VIII. ADDED MINERALS

After purification this water is demineralised, this company
adds minerals to the water. By addition of minerals, it brings
back the taste and goodness of water. However, the minerals
used are not sodium, which if taken in excess can cause an
increase in blood pressre; but
•Pottassium (K ) which helps in reducing hypertension
•Magnesium (Mg) which is useful for the bones.
IX.FINAL OZONIZATION
The system has a ozonization tank, re-circulation
pump, ventury injector, a static mixer and tank
diffusers. Water to be disinfected enters the
ozonization tank from the top to provide a counter-
current flow of ozone and water. Here the ozone
dissolution is better and consistent and is generally
independent of the filling speed flow rate and the line
pressure-sice a separate loop is used for ozone mixing.

X. FINAL PRODUCT
3. FILLING OF BOTTLES
The disinfected water is now filled into the bottles of 1
litre, 500 millilitre, and 20 litres bottles by filling
machine andalso with the manual help of some
trained labourers.
4. LABELING AND PACKAGING
It’s capped and labeled manually by the trained workers as
shown in the picture. According to the information
collected the production of bottle caps and 20litre bottles
are outsourced. And the final stage is that the labeled
bottles are filled into boxes and are loaded to the carriages
through conveyor belts.
