Training is basically the act of imparting knowledge
and upgrading the skills. It is basically the
technique to improve and develop the skills that
may be already been acquired or else to impart
new knowledge or to make aware about new
developments and technologies.
Development is a related process; it covers not only
those activities, which improve job performance,
but also those activities, which bring about
growth of the personality, helps individuals in the
progress towards maturity.
Improve the efficiency of the employees.

• EVALUATION:
• On asking, whether it helps in developing their individual personality or
not, majority of the persons 86% find it helpful in developing their
personality. On asking in what way, their responses were as follows:
– Training is given on all traits to which individual personality needs the
improvement.
– It structures thought process, which develops personality.
– To achieve perfection in the job improve self-confidence, which in turn
develops personality.
– One HOD remarked that as an HOD he feels that 98% training and
development is done within the department and 2% help from outside
agency is required to develop individual personality.

• EVALUATION:
• On asking whether training system aid to their
work experience or not, 76%of the respondents
agree that training system aid to their work
experience. On asking in what way, they
responded training sharpens their capabilities. It
helps to combat barriers like psychological,
technical and gives it exposure.

effective 91% respondents were in favor of
technical/work related training. The reason I found was
that technical training benefits are visible in term of
their scheduled job functioning where as personality
development related training is equally important in
