ABOUT COMPANY
 Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL),is
the India's largest private sector company, is the first telecom
operator to hold pan India Unified License.
RJIL plans to provide seamless 4G services using FDD-LTE on 1800
MHz and TDD-LTE on 2300 MHz through an integrated ecosystem.
 It operates a national LTE network with coverage across all 22
telecom circles.

 Parent organization: Reliance Industries

 Founder: Mukesh Ambani
 Founded: 2007
 Headquarters: Navi Mumbai
 Subsidiary: LYF
Rf and core

 INTRODUCTION TO RF ANTENNAS,RET:
Jio uses the equipment of samsung company, and that
was manufactured in korea.
There are two types of antenna brands
 ACE
 ROSENBERGER
Further Ace & Rosenberg Antennas are divided into
separate Bands as follows
 Single Band
 Multi Band
 Penta Band
THREE TYPES OF BANDS
 SINGLE BANDS:(2G)
Used for only one frequency bands[850mhz]
 MULTI BANDS:(3G)
Used for two frequency
bands[1.8ghz]and[2.3ghz]
 PENTA BANDS :(4G)
Used for all the three frequency bands
ACE ANTENNAS
 SINGLE BANDS(850MHZ)
MULTI BAND ACE ANTENNAS
ROSENBERGER ANTENNAS

 SINGLE BANDS :
MULTI BAND
ROSENBERGER
RET(Remote Electrical Tilt)
 There are two ways to tilt the antenna:

 Mechanical Tilt - The coverage area is

increased in side direction but reduced in
central direction.
 Electrical Tilt  - The coverage area suffers a

uniform reducation in the direction of antenna

azimuth, the gain is also reduced uniformly.
ROSENBERGER RET
ACE RET
WHY 4G
 High Bandwith requirement
 Expensive fees for 3G licenses services
 It was challenge to build the infrastructure for
3G
 Expensive 3G phones
 Large cell phones
ARCHITECTURE
COMPONENTS OF LTE
 LTE is comprise by three main components
 UE[User equipement]

 E-UTRAN[Evolved UMTS Terrstrail Radio

Access Network]
 EPC[Evolved packed core]
IMS ARCHITECTURE
IMS [Point to interconnection]
 POI
MGWCF MGW MGW

MGW MUX MUX

OTHER
OPERATOR
POI
 It means jio to other operators interconnect
 E1=31 CALLS ->CIC [CIRCUIT
INFORMATION CODE]
 LOOKUP AND BREAKUP:
 for checking cic(cross connection
\mutecall)
 Port 1(mux)connected to port 16(mux) in jio-jio
FUTURE PROJECT
 Their future project is RJIL VOWIFI UN-
trusted/un-managed high level design
 Version 5.5.2
CONCLUSION
Hence ,the idea of this internship is to create a 4G LTE project
using VOLTE operator in the country .This project is a
successful outcome of continuous and tireless effort from all
the project members and RELIANCE INFOCOMM
LIMITED. This project has been a really great experience and
opportunity to learn and to experiment .Moreover, the I got
the chance to closely experiment and learn about what goes
into designing and developing 4G LTE using VOLTE. I am
very much delighted that I could explore this topic as the
internship title and in a way, created a version of 4G based
VOLTE and to be closely related with the technology that is of
a great interest to study and research todays and is sure to
revolutionize the way of living of people in the days to come.
