Thank’s to: God, my beloved family,
my beloved teacher Mrs. Tyas, and my
beloved friends who helped me to
make this project.
 Once upon a time in the land of Pasundan, Dayang Sumbi and her loyal
West Java, there was a beautiful Heavenly dog, Tumang.
Goddess. Her name is Dayang Sumbi. She
lives in a hut in the forest with a loyal dog,
Tumang.

 One day, while weaving cloth, he lost one

of the tools. Being tired of searching
everywhere, Dayang Sumbi said to herself,
"Whoever can find a lost tool and give it
back to me, if he is a man, I will make him a
husband and if she is a woman, I will make
her my sister.”

 To his surprise, Tumang found a device

and returned it to him. Inevitably, Dayang
Sumbi had to fulfill her own promise to
marry Tumang , who had been a person who
had been cursed by evil witches as dogs.
Sangkuriang when childhood

 Incidentally Dayang Sumbi gave

birth to a baby boy and named
him Sangkuriang. Sangkuriang
grew into a healthy teenager who
likes to hunt animals in the
forest. Dayang Sumbi never told
Sangkuriang that Tumang was his
father.
 One day, Sangkuriang and Sangkuriang and Tumang in
Tumang hunt deer in the forest. the forest
Soon they met a wild boar.
Sangkuriang is upset because
there is no one deer in the forest.
finally he decided to send Tumang
to look for deer.

 Strangely, Tumang did not kill

wild boar because the wild boar
was actually Dayang Sumbi. The
boar left safely. This made
Sangkuriang very angry, he killed
Tumang. Then, he took the dog's
heart and gave it to Dayang
Sumbi.
Sangkuriang was beaten and
evicted from house by his mother  After eating the heart, Dayang
Sumbi asked Sangkuriang about
where Tumang was, because she
had not seen it from hunting
since before.

 Sangkuriang finally admitted

that he had killed Tumang. And
the heart eaten by Dayang Sumbi
is the Tumang’s heart.

 Dayang Sumbi was very angry

and hit the soup spoon to
Sangkuriang’s head until his head
bled. Then her drove him away.

 Sangkuriang fled to a village. Years

passed, Sangkuriang turned into a wealthy
merchant. Sangkuriang lost his memory of
his past.

 One day there was a woman who applied

for a job to become a maid at her house.
The woman is Dayang Sumbi. They both
don't know each other. Sangkuriang fell in
love with the woman at first glance. He and
the woman had a relationship as lovers for 2
months.

 Gradually Dayang Sumbi realized that

Sangkuriang his child. She is young because
she is a Goddess. Sangkuriang didn't
recognize his own mother, but Dayang
Sumbi recognized Sangkuriang from the old
scars on his head.

 Because of love, Sangkuring proposed

to marry her. To avoid a forbidden
marriage between a mother and a son,
Dayang Sumbi asked him to make a lake
and a boat in one night as a wedding gift
for her.

 With the help of supernatural beings

from the forest, Sangkuriang built lakes
and boats. Dayang Sumbi knew about it
and she tricked Sangkuriang so that the
work was not fully done.
