Rationale

A. Statement of Need
– Beneficiaries of “Kikita ang Magpaganda” and
“Solar Charging Station” do not have the idea on
how to manage small business
– Entrepreneurship training serves as an excellent
foundation for the types of creative, innovative
ideas we need to succeed in the 21st century.
B. Relevance of Need

• Philippine MDP #1 - “Eradicate extreme


poverty and hunger”
• CTU University Goals - “Improved higher
education research to promote economic
productivity and innovation”
• Relevant to day-to-day life
C. Beneficiary Profile
• Kikita ang Magpaganda:
– Housewives
– Female unemployed out-of-school youths
• Solar Powered Charging Station
- Male unemployed – 85%
- Male unemployed with sari-sari store – 15%

health and well-being need of the clienteles
while earning at the same time.
• This program also addresses the number 1

“eradicating extreme poverty and hunger”.

1. To connect daily life and entrepreneurship.
2. To manage time in the workplace.
3. To improve time management skills.
4. To explain the basics of entrepreneurship.
5. To work as a team.
6. To solve problems through effective communication.
7. To enumerate steps to follow to have a successful business
venture
8. To discuss essential concepts related to entrepreneurship
such as vision, ethics, marketing strategy, human resources,
financial strategy. Communication, innovation, and
customer care.
9. To keep track of finances (simple bookkeeping)
