 In UCC we learnt about how to make a static web
page using Html.
1.HTML stands for Hyper text mark up language.
By using html we learnt how to create table,insert
Image,Alignment of image and learn about
creation of hyperlinks in webpage.

2.Spoken tutorial:Spoken tutorial Project aims to
teach programming language,office tools,
Graphics&design tools through audio-video tutorials.
Spoken Tutorial Project has courses in
c,c++,java,python,MYSQL,PHP,Linux,Netbeans, IT
has courses in Libre office.
3. NPTEL: The National Program on Technology
Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), a Joint Venture by
seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and
Indian Institute of Science (IISc).There are 14 open
universities and about 130 distance education
institutions (DEIs) of conventional universities in
operation. We can register for any course on NPTEL
for free.For certification we have to pay a
Nominal fee.
 In communication skills we learnt about:
1.Group Discussion: A GD is the most
powerful tool to evaluate a person's
communication skills. In group discussion,
1.Participants discuss the topic calmly, touching
upon all nuances, and try to reach a conclusion.
2. To stay flexible in a group discussion, try to
create a framework and avoid taking a stand in
the beginning.
2.Interview skills: Interviewing for a job takes a
good amount of self-confidence, panache and
interpersonal communication savvy. They way in
which you present yourself during an interview
gives hiring managers a first impression of you as
a potential staffer, and sets the tone for how you
would perform in an everyday capacity.

3.In Tenses we learnt about rules of tenses.

Sheet metal shop:
In sheet metal we go through the tools and
prepare a rectangular tray using galvanised
Iron sheet .
Tools used in sheet
Metal shop are :
Mallet,shears,Try-
square,Hatchet stake,engineering
Scale,scriber etc.
Welding Shop:
In welding shop we prepare butt joint
We also learnt
about different types
of welding technique
like arc welding,
gas welding.
Tools used in forging
Shop are wire brush, Butt Joint
chipping hammer,tong,arc welding
machine.
Carpentry Shop:
In Carpentry shop we prepare Dovetail Lap
Joint. We use a soft wood to prepare this as
a raw material.we also
Study Cross half lap joint.
Tools used are:
Engineering scale,chisels,
Soft wood,rip saw,mallet, Dovetail lap joint
marking gauge,wooden jack plane.
Foundary Shop:
In foundary shop we prepare a mould
using floor moulding.we also learnt
about bench moulding .
Tools used in foundary shop:
Moulding boxes,shovel,rammer,strike off
Bar,vent wire,slick,lifter,draw spike,bellow
pattern,hand riddle.
Forging Shop:
In forging shop we prepare a ring using a
metal by cold forging.we also learnt how to
prepare a Screw driver.

1.Cold forging
2.Hot forging
Tools used in forging are:
files,hammer,anvil,swage
black,hacksaw,tong etc.
Machine Shop:
In machine shop we perform taper turning,
facing on lathe machine.we also go through
different machines like shaper machine,
Grinding machine etc.
Tools used in machine shop:
Vernier calliper,surface gauge
,screw gauge etc.
Lathe machine is used in proper sizing of
workpiece as per requirement.It can be
operated manually as well as automatic
control are also provided.
Cnc Shop:
Cnc stands for computer numerical control.
In Cnc shop we learnt about the cnc edm,
Cnc mill trainer,cnc lathe machines.
1.Cnc Edm machine is also known as spark
machining.It is used for preparation of dies
for producing jewellary.
2.Cnc lathe machine is used in sizing of a
workpiece.Taper turning,knurling,boring,
Facing etc are operation performed on lathe
3.Cnc milling machine is used for shaping
of metal.These machines exist in two forms:
Horizontal and vertical based on orientation
of cutting tool.
