 Pengertian
Secara etimologis kata supervisi berasal dari bahasa inggris yaitu “to supervise”
atau dapat diartikan “mengawasi”. Sumber lain juga mengatakan kalau
supervisi berasal dari dua kata yaitu “superior” dan “vision”, superior dapat
diartikan “atas” dan vision dapat diartikan “penglihatan”. Dengan begitu, maka
supervisi dapat diartikan juga sebagai penglihatan dari atas.
