DEAERATION IS DONE BY HEATING THE F.W. WITH STEAM.
THE D.O LEVEL IN FEED WATER BY MECHANICAL DEAERATION
CAN BE BROUGHT TO 0.02 PPM TO 0.03PPM. FURTHER WE CAN REDUCE D.O UPTO 0.007 PPM BY HYDRAZINE DOSING. Individual pump Balancing piping of BFP is connected
to storage tank of Deaerator, consist of globe valve to regulate the flow as required, NRV, Pr. Gauge and PRV. Minimum Recirculation Flow It is provided because during the operation of the pump, there will be always be a minimum flow across the pump even when there is no discharge into the boiler.
A throttling valve is provided on individual pump
discharge line to control the flow through the circulation line and NRV is also provided. Boiler Drum Assembly The boiler is of Bi-Drum construction.Upper drum is steam drum and lower drum is water drum. Air vent is provided in steam drum.During the cold start up the air vent is kept open till the drum pressure reaches to 2 ksc and lly it is opened when the drum pressure falls to 2 ksc during shut down. Tri-Sodium Phosphate is dosed into the steam drum to maintain PH 9 to 11 in boiler water sample.
