Academic Institutions

PROBLEM STATEMENT
India has one of the largest Higher Education System in the World, with more than 700
Universities and 35,500+ colleges out of which 115 Universities and 5672 colleges teach
various engineering disciplines.

Even after Having 1000’s of Educational Institutions in place, Unemployment is a


biggest threat for the Country. Only 25% of technical graduates are having potential for
employment.

So the reason of “Unemployment” is not the lack of demand or lack of supply,


but It’s the lack of “Quality Supply.” The reasons behind is Lack of regular industry
academia interface, Lack of Job oriented & Skill based Curriculum, Lack of proper
evaluation & Certification of practical skills, Lack of internship/ apprenticeship
opportunities in industry.
Lacks fundamental knowledge of
Terminology, Concepts, Principles etc. in their
own disciplines
Lacks knowledge of current developments in
their disciplines and technology

I.e. Latest Revisions in IS codes are not known to


students
Lacks Basic Data Handling Skills

A civil engineer is unable to do basic masonry work, Carpentry work, Basic Shuttering, Steel

• All Practicals must be organized in Laboratory for students. They can download
best of theoretical lectures from internet but hands-on-experience will give them
real learning
• 1 Day Compulsory Industrial Tour in every semester by every subject/domain
expert
• 15 Days Onsite Practical Training on any Live Project – Project Report must be
prepared & presented by student himself including data sheet and power point
slides.
