Avoid the following foods when
diarrhea
Fatty food

Milk, butter, ice cream and cheese. Even if diarrhea is not

caused by lactose intolerance (difficulty processing lactose
sugar, which is found in dairy products), avoiding these foods
during diarrhea is still ongoing. Probiotics in yogurt may be
an exception to this rule.

Alcoholic drinks and caffeine. Diarrhea people, must avoid

food and beverages that cause discharge (loss) of fluids.
Alcohol and caffeine can act as a diuretic (removing body
fluids), which means it will cause or worsen dehydration
Avoid the following
foods when diarrhea
Sorbitol and other artificial sweeteners. Some people find that artificial
sweeteners have a laxative effect on the digestive system. If you are diarrhea,
avoid sweets and chewing gum, soft drink diets, and artificial sweetener-rich
foods.

Food that causes excessive gas. It is very important to eat lots of fruits and
vegetables every day. However, when, diarrhea occurs, we must avoid food
choices that tend to increase intestinal gas, such as cabbage, beans, broccoli
and cauliflower, until you feel better.
